David Lloyd's pitch cry carries on!

David Lloyd, the former Cricketer from England, is extremely busy criticizing Ahmedabad's pitch. They are finding it difficult to digest their massive demoralizing defeats at the hands of the hosts. After the series win in Sri Lanka, Mr. Lloyd must be thinking of defeating India in their backyards as well, but this is utterly surprising for me that he how soon have forgotten India's performance in the recently concluded series against the Kangaroos with half of its regular Test Players were injured or not playing.

I want to remind you of the pitch being used in the first Test Match at Chennai for the series opener.  The pitch was as flat as the concrete road, and your team had batted two and half days on that placid surface and scored 500 plus runs, too. Why any of you did not complain about that pitch? The answer to that, because your team could manage to win that game, which might be a big surprise for you guys.

Would you be crying the same way if the home team has not won the match? And the answer is, Of course not. It shows the adoption of double standards being adopted by you. The main cause of your pitch cry is, that India did brush you aside from the World Test Championship.

You must remember one thing, every home team takes advantage of their home conditions, where no team in the world is different. Does England not prepare seaming pitches to make life difficult when subcontinental teams travel to the United Kingdom? Yes, they do.

Then, What is this cry for? The mentality of the England Team and the past English Players regarding the pitches lack introspection. As a matter of fact is, they are simply not well equipped when it comes to playing spin bowling. The technique of the Indian batter's is far more superior in comparison to the English Batsmen. Even Ravichandran Ashwin had played a 100 run knock against the visitors on the difficult Chennai wicket, where the whole of England's Team only could manage to score 150 odd runs.

According to Nathan, the Ahmedabad pitch was not impossible to bat on. This shows the Former English Players and the English Media are banging their heads to the walls for no reason whatsoever, and creating unwanted controversy out of nowhere regarding the pitch, to hide their player's weaknesses against the turning balls, isn't it?

As there is one more Test Match to go in the series yet. The English side must prepare well to encounter the spinning web of Ashwin and Axar once again to save their faces. Otherwise, the match will end well before five days for sure again. They will find it utmost difficult to survive against the Indian spin duo.

A Cordial Reply to Mr. David Lloyd.
